Roadside Rage

I once recall a time when 370 had just opened and there were no billboards on it yet. It was a very enjoyable drive. You could look in either direction and see the farms and houses without restriction. Now that drive is cluttered with so many billboards it makes me sick. I hate them. I understand why they exist, but I despise the exhorbitant number of them.

Evidently, other people in this state also hate certain billboards. I have driven the route across I-70 from St. Louis to Kansas City, and have always wondered about these obnoxiously, blatant billboards. There are tons of them! And driving into Columbia from the west, you would think that the whole town exists on adult pleasures and show girl cabarets. It leaves the impression that our state panders extensively to this degrading form of "entertainment" and I am apalled.

Although I have said for years that I would love to see a limit on the number of billboards along roadways in Missouri, I don't see that happening anytime soon. This would be a great first step though...

APB - St Louis City School Board Member Loose!

Name: Rochelle Moore
Alias: Water Wielding Whiner
Modus Operandi: Likes to stalk unsuspecting coworkers and randomly make their lives a living hell

This woman is a nut case and should be banned from all public property.
My favorite quote so far is this one regarding her mental capacity:
"From this day forward, anyone who brings that issue up, I am getting violent." Moore said.

Yep. That will definitely help your case. If this woman doesn't lose her position, then the school board is in serious trouble.

The Trouble With Tape Is...

Kids talk when they finally can.

When you duct tape one of your students to a desk and tape his mouth shut, how long do you expect him, or any of the other students to remain quiet about the incident? Evidently long enough to make it worth your 21 year career?

I don't think so...
