Blues Lose

This article by Bernie M. is pretty much on point in the fact that it points to Blues Payroll decisions that defy logic. How do you explain a high payroll in a year when you are waiting to see what happens with Labor negotiations, unless you intend to make a run for the Cup?

Obviously, the Blues aren't running for the Cup, but rather for the early tee times at their respective country clubs...
