If you are a mother, dress accordingly.
Even if you have a killer body, there's no need to flaunt it in front of your child to us. Choose clothing that is comfortable and appropriate for your stage in life.
You are not Christina or Britney or Jessica or anyone famous. You have a child. Don't feel the need to prove that you are sexy.

Oh, and if you have a child that is old enough to want to go shopping, do not buy the same style of clothes that they want. It doesn't work for you, and it makes you look like you are desperately wanting to be 12 again.
