Good Friday

All around the world today, people of various cultures, backgrounds and religions are observing Good Friday. Are you observing this day in some way or another? If so, what are you doing? If not, why not?

Quick Story
I formerly work in downtown Clayton, directly across the street from a Catholic church. From my window I would watch people in their work suits hustle into the doors during their "lunch break" on Good Friday and hustle out some 30 minutes later. They would rush to grab something to eat and then quickly return to their desk to work another 4 or 5 hours. I always found it interesting that they would rush through such a service. I suppose the desire to attend the service is a positive thing in and of itself, but I wonder how much they actually took from it. And what was their motivation for going? Did they go because they wanted to or because they felt that they had to? And did they go during their lunch because they would be too busy later in the evening? Dare I say that if you are too busy to set aside the time to attend a full service in the evening then perhaps you don't give that event the priority and reverence it is suppose to obtain?
